Description

High-Performance Zinc-Rich Coating

Würth Zinc Spray is a zinc-rich acrylic resin coating designed for the long-term protection, repair, and visual enhancement of metallic surfaces. Containing 80% zinc in the dry film, it provides strong cathodic protection to steel, preventing rust formation even when the surface is scratched or exposed to harsh conditions.

Corrosion Protection and Resistance

The coating has been tested to deliver more than 300 hours of salt spray resistance (DIN EN ISO 9227), ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial and automotive environments.

Adhesion and Weldability

Würth Zinc Spray demonstrates excellent adhesion on bare steel and zinc-plated surfaces. The coating is also spot-weldable, making it suitable for use during fabrication and repair processes.

Limitations

This product is not suitable as a primer for PU, MS polymer, or hybrid sealing compounds, and it should not be painted over with other paints unless preliminary testing confirms compatibility.
