We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Optimised Diesel Performance in Winter

Würth Winter Diesel Performance Improver is a high-performance additive designed to maintain the fluidity of diesel fuel in cold weather. It modifies the crystallisation behaviour of paraffins, ensuring that diesel remains pumpable and filterable at low temperatures, thereby preventing engine failures caused by blocked filters or frozen lines.

Reliable Cold Weather Protection

By lowering the cloud point and pour point, the additive helps fuel flow freely in sub-zero conditions, securing reliable starting and smooth operation. Depending on fuel quality, improvements of up to -10°C at temperatures as low as -31°C can be achieved.

Practical and Universal Application

The additive is suitable for all diesel-powered vehicles and machinery, including modern systems with common rail and pump/nozzle injection technology. It is best used continuously throughout the winter months to ensure consistent protection.

Application Instructions

  1. Add the additive before the diesel fuel temperature drops below 0°C and before any paraffin flocculation occurs. Once flocculation has occurred, it cannot be reversed by this product.
  2. Shake the container if necessary and pour directly into the fuel tank.
  3. For best results, add immediately before refuelling, allowing the product to mix thoroughly with the incoming fuel.

Dosage

  • 1,000 ml treats approx. 1,000L of fuel (ratio 1:1,000).
  • 300ml treats approx. 150L of fuel (ratio 1:500).
  • 150ml is sufficient for up to 70L of fuel.

Usage Notes

  • Additive and diesel should ideally be at room temperature when mixing.
  • Do not store or add product below the freezing point of diesel fuel.
  • Continuous use is recommended throughout the colder seasons.
