Description

Professional-Grade Vulcanising Cement

Würth Vulcanising Cement is a specially formulated adhesive solution designed for use in self-vulcanising tyre and hose repair systems. It provides strong, permanent bonds between raw rubber, repair bodies, and repair patches, ensuring long-lasting durability even under high load and temperature conditions.

Compliance with Tyre Repair Regulations

This cement has been developed in accordance with
§ 36 of the German road traffic licensing regulations
(StVZO), which sets the standard for tyre repairs. It ensures that repairs performed with this cement meet stringent safety requirements, making it suitable for professional workshops and trade users.

Wide Range of Applications

  • Motorcycle tyres: Puncture repairs permitted up to mm in the running surface using combination repair equipment.
  • Passenger cars and trailer tyres: Puncture repairs permitted up to 6mm in the running surface; bead area repairs allowed if reinforcing materials are unaffected.
  • Commercial vehicle tyres (load index < 122): Same limits as car/trailer tyres (up to 6mm puncture repairs).
  • Commercial vehicle tyres (load index >= 122): Puncture repairs permitted up to 10mm in the running surface; bead area repairs allowed only if carcass or ply end is not compromised.

Reliable Repair Bonding

By enabling both warm and hot vulcanisation processes, Würth Vulcanising Cement ensures raw rubber and repair patches fuse seamlessly with the tyre body, restoring the structural integrity of the tyre and extending service life.

  10. Insert the repair body through the channel from the inside out.
  11. Pull until the repair disc sits flat against the inside of the tyre.
  12. Roll the patch outwards from the centre to eliminate air pockets.
  13. Reinstall the tyre, inflate, and check for leaks.
  14. Trim any excess material without pulling the repair body.

Usage Notes

  • Always follow the repair limits specified for the tyre type and load index.
  • Do not attempt to repair tyres previously treated with emergency repair kits.
  • Not permitted for damage outside of the running surface on motorcycle tyres.
  • Close container tightly after use to prevent evaporation and contamination.
