Description

Optimised Hardener for Vaku Polyester Filler Systems

The Würth Vaku Hardener is a peroxide paste hardener developed specifically for use with the Vaku filler range (20, 30, 40, 80). It ensures reliable curing performance, enabling fillers to achieve their designed working life, sanding properties, and durability.

Reliable and Easy Mixing

The product’s red pigmentation provides clear visual feedback during mixing, ensuring even distribution throughout the filler. With a pasty consistency and viscosity of 10,000 mPas (at 20 °C), it blends smoothly into polyester resins without separation, clumping, or uneven curing.

Durability and Performance

When used at the correct ratio, the Vaku Hardener enables polyester fillers to reach optimum strength, elasticity, and sanding behaviour. Once cured, the resulting repairs are resistant to loads and temperatures up to 80 °C, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications in automotive, marine, metal, and woodworking sectors.

Part of the Complete Vaku Repair System

The Vaku Hardener is designed to complement Würth’s range of polyester-based fillers and resins, ensuring compatibility, safety, and consistent performance. It is suitable for both professional workshops and industrial repair environments.

  3. Blend thoroughly until a uniform colour is achieved.
  4. Apply the mixed filler immediately, observing the specified working life.
  5. Allow to cure before sanding, machining, or painting as per the filler's instructions.

Usage Notes

  • Always follow the recommended mixing ratio to avoid curing defects.
  • Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and ignition sources.
  • Use only with Vaku polyester filler systems - not intended for use with non-compatible resins.
  • Observe standard safety guidelines when handling peroxide-based hardeners.
