Universal High-Performance Filler
Würth Vaku 30 Filler is a polyester resin-based universal filler designed for use across multiple material surfaces. Combining the functionality of a knifing filler and fine filler in one product, it offers excellent adhesion, easy handling, and fast curing. This makes it a versatile and efficient repair solution for both trade and workshop environments.
Exceptional Sanding Properties
The filler is formulated to deliver no breakaway at edges during fine sanding, ensuring a professional, pore-free finish. With its low dust build-up, sanding is cleaner and more efficient, simplifying the repair process and minimising clean-up.
Fast Processing with High Surface Quality
Vaku 30 is quick-drying with a working life of 3–4 minutes at 20 °C and a drying time of 20–30 minutes. This ensures rapid turnaround and efficiency, with surfaces ready for sanding and finishing in less than half an hour. Its optimum elasticity and high filling power allow closed, smooth surfaces to be achieved in fewer layers, reducing the need for rework.
Wide Range of Applications
- Automotive and Cargo: Excellent adhesion to steel, aluminium, zinc-plated and hot-dip zinc-platted surfaces, and GFRP - ideal for vehicle construction and repair.
- Metal: Perfect for compensating welding spots and blowholes in machinery and steel construction, with universal adhesion to steel, aluminium, and zinc.
- Wood: Suitable as a repair putty in the construction sector, especially for window and door restoration. Not suitable for oily or heavily weathered woods.
System Compatibility Processing Tips
- For best results, pre-prime with two-component Multi-Fill for corrosion protection do not use one-component primer).
- Apply in thin, multiple layers for a pore-free surface.
- Only sand polyster materials when dry to avoid water-related issues.
- Compatible with Vaku 20 and Vaku 40 as part of the Würth Vaku filler system.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and grease-free.
- Sand the surface to create a suitable key. (Polyester materials should be sanded dry due to water sensitivity).
- Mix filler thoroughly with 2% hardener.
- Apply filler in thin layers with the supplied spatula.
- Observe the following processing times at 20°C. Working life: 3-4 minutes, drying time: 20-30 minutes.
- Once dry, sand the surface with P80-P280 sandpaper (wet sanding only once material is completely dry).
Usage Notes
- Do not use on heavily weathered or oily wood surfaces.
- Always maitnain the correct hardener-to-filler ratio to ensure proper curing.
- Maximum permissible VOC content: 250 g/l; actual VOC content: 0 g/l.
- Application possible at relative humidity up to 90%; minimum processing temperature 10 °C.
