High-Viscosity Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

Würth Thick Grade Super Glue is a cyanoacrylate-based adhesive specially formulated with increased viscosity, providing better control and reduced run-off during application. This makes it particularly effective for vertical surfaces, overhead bonding, or gap-filling situations where a standard thin superglue may not be suitable.

Fast and Reliable Bonding

The adhesive cures rapidly when applied in thin layers, allowing for quick repairs and assembly work. It forms a clear, strong joint that resists water ingress and maintains integrity under fluctuating environmental conditions.

Durability and Resistance

Once cured, the adhesive offers excellent chemical resistance and can withstand continuous temperature exposure from -60°C up to +80°C. This makes it well-suited for both indoor and outdoor use, including environments subject to vibration, movement, or changing climates.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free of grease or dust.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer to one bonding surface only.
  3. Press the components together immediately and hold until the adhesive sets (bonding occurs within seconds).
  4. Allow sufficient curing time before subjecting the joint to stress or load.

Usage Notes:

  • Processing temperature: -3°C to 20C.
  • Temperature resistance (cured): -60°C to 80°C.
  • Apply sparingly - excessive adhesive can slow down curing.
  • Not suitable for large gap filling or flexible substrates requiring elasticity.

Safety Warnings

  • Bonds skin and eyes instantly - wear protective gloves and goggles.
  • Use only in well-ventilated areas.
  • Keep away from moisture, open flames, and heat sources.
  • Store upright in a cool, dry place at 5°C to 25°C.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.
