In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Superior Corrosion Protection

Würth Thick-Film Primer Filler is specifically engineered to provide durable corrosion resistance on a wide variety of metallic substrates. Its advanced formulation ensures long-term protection against environmental factors, making it suitable for both professional bodyshops and demanding repair applications.

Outstanding Adhesion Properties

This primer adheres exceptionally well to aluminium, bare, and galvanised sheet metals, and previously painted surfaces. It is also compatible with PU and MS polymer sealing compounds, providing flexibility in mixed-material assemblies. When applied on zinc-plated or hot-dip galvanised surfaces, pre-treatment with zinc cleaner is recommended for optimal adhesion.

Optimised Application Performance

With its excellent filling power, the thick-film structure levels out scratches, sanding marks, and minor unevenness. It features superior stretch and run-off behaviour, ensuring smooth, even coatings without sagging. The product is easy to sand, allowing for fast refinishing and minimal labour.

Fast Drying and Heat Resistant

Formulated for efficiency, this primer filler achieves a dust-dry finish in as little as 8 minutes and is ready for overcoating after just 15 minutes with 1K, 2K, or water-based topcoat systems. Once cured, it withstands temperatures up to 110°C, making it suitable for high-demand environments.

Environmentally Compliant

The product is fully VOC-compliant, offering a lower solvent content without compromising on performance. It aligns with the maximum VOC limits specified under the European VOC Directive (1999/13/EC).

Convenient Packaging

Supplied in a 400ml aerosol can, it provides professional-grade results with ease of use and portability. After application, turning the can upside down and spraying until the valve is clear ensures extended shelf life and clog-free reuse.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease.
  2. Lightly sand problematic areas to improve surface adhesion.
  3. Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use.
  4. Apply a thin initial coat, followed by additional layers as needed, observing appropriate flash-off times.
  5. The coating can be painted over after approx. 15 minutes with all standard 1-component, 2-component, and water-based topcoat systems.
  6. After use, invert the can and spray until the valve is empty to prevent blockage.

Usage Notes

  • Suitable for use on zinc-plated and hot-dip galvanised surfaces only with prior zinc cleaner pre-treatment.
  • Always wear appropriate PPE (respiratory protection, gloves, and eye protection) during application.
  • Apply in a well-ventilated area and keep away from ignition sources.
