Description
Fast Bonding Performance
Würth Superglue Activator is a naphtha-based surface treatment formulated to dramatically reduce the curing time of cyanoacrylate adhesives. It enables rapid work completion by ensuring the adhesive sets in seconds, even on challenging substrates.
Improved Adhesion on Difficult Surfaces
This activator is particularly effective when bonding inactive materials (such as UPVC, metals, or composites) or when dealing with large adhesive gaps that would normally cure too slowly. By priming the surface, it enhances bonding reliability and speed.
Versatile Application Methods
The activator can be applied with a sponge, brush, by dipping, or spraying, making it suitable for a wide range of workshop and industrial applications. It must be applied to one side only and allowed to evaporate fully before adhesive application.
Non-Discolouring Formula
Unlike conventional accelerators, Würth Superglue Activator is designed to minimise yellowing and surface staining, making it especially suitable for UPVC and visible joints in automotive, construction, and repair work.

Application Instructions
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease.
- Apply to one surface only using a brush, sponge, spray, or dipping method.
- Allow the activator to evaporate completely (minimum 2 minutes) before applying the adhesive.
- Apply superglue to the untreated surface, then immediately press the parts together to achieve full contact.
- To cure excess adhesive residue, spray activator directly over the bonded joint.
Usage Notes
- Only for surface activation - do not dilute or use as a cleaner.
- Apply sparingly - overuse may affect bond quality.
- Ensure good ventilation during use.
Safety Warnings
- Highly flammable - keep away from heat, sparks, and flames.
- Avoid inhaling vapours - use in a well-ventilated environment.
- Wear protective gloves and goggles when handling.
- Store upright, sealed, in a cool, dry location at 5-25°C.
- Keep out of reach of children.
