In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00. 

An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready for collection.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Specialised Protection for Wooden Undercarriages

Würth Special Underbody Seal is a unique, vapour-permeable protective coating engineered for wooden underbodies of caravans, trailers, and motorhomes. Unlike traditional underbody coatings, its active-breathing formulation allows moisture within the wood to escape, preventing trapped dampness while simultaneously blocking external water and contaminants from penetrating.

Strong Adhesion and Long-Lasting Durability

This coating has been extensively tested for compatibility with wood impregnation compounds, ensuring a stable bond without damaging pre-treated surfaces. Once cured, the seal provides exceptional adhesion, high ageing resistance, and an elastic finish that resists cracking over time.

Noise Reduction and Application Benefits

In addition to its protective properties, Würth Special Underbody Seal also delivers an anti-humming effect, dampening vibrations and reducing road noise for a smoother driving experience. The formulation is designed to remain in place during application, offering excellent vertical hold with no dripping or run off.

Practical and Easy to Use

Packaged in an aerosol, the product applies evenly with minimal effort. It can be removed with thinner while still wet, but once cured, removal is only possible mechanically. After each use, the can should be turned upside down and sprayed until the valve is empty, ensuring reliable operation for future applications.

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the can well before use.
  2. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from rust, dust, and grease.
  3. Hold the can at an optimum spraying distance of 30cm.
  4. Apply evenly to the wooden underbody.
  5. For thicker layers, allow immediate coats to flash off before applying the next layer.
  6. Allow to dry under recommended conditions before subjecting to full stress.
  7. After use, turn the can upside down and spray until the valve is empty.

Usage Notes

  • Store in a cool, dry place at 10°C to 30°C, away from direct sunlight.
  • Can be cleaned with thinner when wet; once dry, only mechanical removal is possible.
  • Not recoatable or paintable.
  • Shelf life: 24 months from production when stored correctly.
