In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00. 

An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready for collection.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Specialised Primer for Roof Membranes

Würth Special FP/TPO/EDPM 1-C Liquid Plastic Primer is a polyolefin-based primer designed to ensure secure adhesion of Würth 1-component liquid plastics to FPO (Flexible Polyolefin), TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), and EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) membranes.

Fast-Drying and Effective

With a typical drying time of 20 minutes at 20°C, the primer allows rapid progression to waterproofing applications. At lower temperatures, the ventilation time is extended.

Reliable Adhesion and Pre-Treatment

Before application of Würth 1C Liquid Plastic Pro or Easy, the membrane surface must be lightly sanded and primed with this product. An adhesion test is recommended on site to confirm compatibility with the specific substrate.

Professional Performance

This primer is solvent-containing, ensuring deep surface penetration and reliable long-term adhesion. It is suitable for use in a wide temperature range from 5°C to 35°C.

Application Instructions

  1. Clean the membrane surface so it is dry, dust-free, and free from grease and oil.
  2. Lightly sand the membrane to improve adhesion.
  3. Apply a thin, even coat of primer to the prepared surface.
  4. Allow to ventilate for approx. 20 minutes at 20°C (longer at lower temperatures).
  5. Apply Würth 1C Liquid Plastic Pro or Easy after the primer has dried.
  6. Perform a local adhesion test before full-scale application.

Usage Notes

  • Processing temperature must be between 5°C and 35°C.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
  • Always observe the longer drying times at temperatures below 20°C.
  • Do not use in constantly humid or submerged environments.
