Description

Effective Rust Conversion

Würth Rust Converter offers a highly effective solution for stopping ongoing corrosion and stabilising rusted metal surfaces. The dispersion-based formula penetrates deep into the rust layer, where it reacts with iron oxide to form a stable, insoluble, blue-black, metal-organic complex. This process neutralises active corrosion, preventing further rust formation and extending the service life of metal components.

Environmentally Friendly Formula

Unlike aggressive acid-based rust treatments, this product uses an environmentally friendly dispersion system. It delivers the same high-performance results while being safer to use, making it suitable for both professional and industrial environments where sustainability is a priority.

Paintable and Versatile

After only 3 hours of reaction time, the treated surface can be painted over with water-based or solvent-based coatings. This allows for flexible integration into existing finishing processes. It also serves as a suitable substrate for fillers, enabling further restoration or refinishing work as required.

Industrial -Grade Applications

Engineered for reliability, Würth Rust Converter is widely applicable across industries such as vehicle and caravan construction, shipbuilding, steel fabrication, pipeline and tank construction, agriculture, forestry, and municipal maintenance. Its robust temperature resistance of up to 120°C ensures performance under demanding operational conditions.
