The Cracking Effect Advantage

The aerosol formulation cools the material surface to -45°C upon application, causing thermal contraction that creates micro-fine cracks in the corrosion layer at fastener connection points. Application Instructions

  1. Remove coarse soiling — Use a wire brush or scraper to remove as much loose corrosion and soiling as practical before applying the rust remover.
  2. Shake the can — Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use to ensure proper mixing of the active agent and propellant.
  3. Apply from short distance — Hold the can close to the seized fastener or connection point and spray until the area turns blue, confirming processing temperature is reached.
  4. Allow penetration time — Allow the product time to penetrate the corrosion layer before attempting to loosen the fastener.
  5. Loosen the fastener — Once the rust is penetrated, use appropriate tools (wrench, socket, screwdriver) to loosen the fastener. Use steady pressure rather than sudden force to avoid breaking the fastener.
  6. Repeat if necessary — For extremely stubborn or heavily rusted connections, repeat the application and allow additional penetration time.
