Description
Dual-Action Repair and Retouching
The Würth Retouching Wax Assortment is engineered to repair fine surface damage such as scratches, abrasions, and small holes, while simultaneously retouching colour to blend repairs into surrounding surfaces. Unlike conventional fillers, this wax pen assortment is particularly effective on painted natural wood and plastic-coated surfaces, offering a versatile solution for both homeowners and professional tradespeople.
Wide Colour Range with Mixing Capability
The assortment includes 10 wax sticks in a range of shades designed to suit different wood tones and finishes. Because wood colouration is influenced by species, origin, and surface treatment, exact matching is rarely possible with a single shade. To achieve the best results, colours can be mixed, ensuring accurate blending with the existing surface.
Quick and Simple Application
The retouching wax is designed for straightforward use. Simply rub the wax into scratches or abrasions under light pressure, smooth with a plastic plane, and finish with a cotton cloth to remove residue. Repairs can be completed within minutes, delivering a professional-quality finish with minimal effort. The wax should always be stored in its aluminium sleeve to maintain quality and longevity.
Durable and Stable Formula
Based on a special wax blend, the retouching wax has a softening point of 50 °C (ISO 2207) and a dripping point of 60 °C (DIN 51801), ensuring stability under normal indoor conditions. With a flashing point of 180 °C, the wax is highly resistant to ignition and offers safe, reliable use. It exhibits excellent adhesion to wood, plastics, and paper foils, while remaining non-water-soluble. Stored at room temperature, the wax assortment has a shelf life of up to 4 years.

Application Instructions

- Rub the retouching wax perpendicular to the scratch or abrasion while applying light pressure.

- Lightly wipe the repaired area again with the cloth for a clean finish.
- Seal the repaired site with clear varnish to protect the surface.
- Store the wax pen in its aluminium sleeve after use.
Usage Notes
- Suitable for indoor applications only.
- Follow the instructions included with the assortment pack carefully.
- Perfect colour matching may require blending multiple shades due to natural wood variations.
- Intended for low-stress surfaces no exposed to heavy mechanical loads.
