In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

The Würth Radiator Leak Detection Additive is a special fluorescent agent designed to trace leaks in vehicle cooling systems. When added to the coolant circuit, it enables quick and accurate localisation of leaks under UV or suitable inspection lighting. Even micro-leaks that are otherwise difficult to detect become visible.

Universal Compatibility

Developed for all types of vehicles with water cooling - from passenger carsd to commercial trucks and buses - this additive works seamlessly with standard cooling system fluids. Its 30ml capacity is sufficient for up to 15L of coolant, making it suitable for single-vehicle applications or fleet servicing.

Safe and Practical

The formula is odourless, non-corrosive, and easy to use, ensuring no harmful impact on the cooling system materials. It does not interfere with coolant performance or properties, making it ideal for preventative maintenance as well as diagnostic troubleshooting.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure the engine and cooling system are at normal operating condition before use.
  2. Shake the additive thoroughly.
  3. Pour the entire 30ml contents into the radiator or expansion tank.
  4. Allow the engine to circulate the coolant to distribute the additive evenly.
  5. Inspect the cooling system using UV light or a leak detection lamp to identify leaks.
  6. Proceed with repairs once leaks have been located.

Usage Notes

  • One bottle (30ml) is sufficient for 15L of coolant or water.
  • Only for use in water-cooled systems.
  • Follow workshop safety protocols when working on hot engines and cooling systems.
