In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Restore Cooling System Performance

Würth Radiator Cleaner is a water-based alkaline cleaning solution designed to remove corrosion, scale, sludge, and oil residues from vehicle cooling systems. Over time, these deposits restrict coolant flow, reduce thermal transfer, and increase the risk of overheating.

Thorough Cleaning Action

The product dissolves contaminants such as:

  • Lime and scale deposits caused by hard water.
  • Rust and corrosion residues from metal components.
  • Sludge and oil residues (including those caused by cylinder head gasket failures).

Safe and Compatible

Formulated with a pH of 9-11, Würth Radiator Cleaner is non-aggressive and compatible with all common cooling system materials, including aluminium, steel, copper, rubber, and plastics. It does not interfere with antifreeze and ensures the cooling system is left in optimal condition for refilling.

Preventative and Corrective Use

The cleaner can be used as a corrective treatment for cooling systems with reduced performance, or as a preventive measure each time coolant is replaced, ensuring the system remains free from contamination.

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the can well before use.
  2. Add the entire contents directly to the cooling water. 250ml is sufficient for 10 litres of coolant. 1000ml is sufficient for 40 litres of coolant.
  3. Open heater valves to ensure complete circulation.
  4. Run the engine at operating temperature for approx. 30 minutes.
  5. Drain the cooling system and flush thoroughly with clean water to remove loosened deposits. The thermostat does not need to be removed for flushing.
  6. Replace contaminated components if oil ingress has occurred (e.g. expansion tank, water hoses).
  7. Refill with fresh coolant, bleed the system, and check for leaks.

Usage Notes

  • Product is not suitable for use during vehicle operation (cleaning mode only).
  • Always flush thoroughly to prevent residues mixing with new coolant.
