Description
Fast-Acting Universal Wood Adhesive
Würth Quick Hardening Glue is a high-performance PVA-based adhesive specially developed for rapid assembly and joinery tasks. Its quick-setting formulation and high initial strength make it perfect for applications where speed and efficiency are essential.
Performance Certified
The glue complies with stress group D2 according to DIN/EN 204, meaning it is suitable for indoor bonding applications where joints may occasionally be exposed to condensation or brief contact with water. This makes it reliable for everyday furniture and interior joinery work.
Versatile Applications
Designed for a wide range of woodworking operations, Würth Quick Hardening Glue is ideal for indoor doors, staircases, railings, laminated panels, block gluing, board joints, dowels, pins, and edge bonding. Its compatibility with softwoods, hardwoods, and exotic woods ensures flexibility across different workshop and site projects.
Processing Conditions
Bonding performance is influenced by temperature, humidity, and application quantity. At temperatures below 20°C, pressing and processing times are extended; at temperatures above 20°C, curing times are reduced.

Application Instructions
- Ensure all substrates are clean, free from dust, grease, and contaminants.
- Confirm wood moisture is within the recommended 8-12% range.
- Apply an even coat of adhesive to one bonding surface using a brush, spatula, or glue roller.
- Join components within the open time window (5-10 minutes at 20°C, 150 g/m^2 application).
- Apply a pressing pressure of up to 0.7 N/mm^2 until the adhesive develops sufficient strength to hold the joint.
- Allow joints to fully cure before subjecting them to stress or load.
Safety and Usage Notes
- Optimum working temperature: 15-20°C (for room, material, and adhesive).
- Processing time and pressing duration vary with temperature, humidity, and glue spread.
- Store between recommended conditions to maintain a 12-month shelf life.
- Avoid skin or eye contact - wear protective gloves and eyewear.
- Ensure adequate ventilation during use.
