Description
Fast and Versatile Epoxy Putty for Emergency Repairs
The Würth Putty Repair Stick is a hand-malleable epoxy filler with the hardener forming the central core. When kneaded together, the components activate to create a fast-curing, high-strength putty that bonds to a wide range of materials. It is designed for rapid repairs in demanding environments, providing a reliable solution where conventional adhesives or fillers may fail.
Easy to Use - No Mess Application
Unlike liquid adhesives, the putty formulation ensures no dripping or sagging. It can be precisely moulded into cracks, holes, or around worn parts, making it ideal for emergency fixes. Once cured, the material can be machined, sanded, drilled, tapped, or painted, offering a professional finish and permanent repair.
Adheres Even in Wet Conditions
Thanks to its advanced epoxy formulation, the repair stick adheres even in the presence of moisture and liquids. It is suitable for underwater applications such as swimming pools, baths, and pipework, where traditional repair products cannot perform.
Wide Application Range
- Steel Epoxy Stick Cylinder blocks, heads, casings, damaged threasds, worn shafts, water pipes, and general steel components.
- Plastic Epoxy Stick: Bumpers, dashboard components, fibreglass parts, washer bottles, baths, swimming pools, plastic pipes, and other polymer-based components.
- Aluminium Epoxy Stick: Radiators and all types of aluminium components.
Durability and Performance
The cured epoxy withstands temperatures up to 120 °C, ensuring reliable, long-term performance in both automotive and industrial applications. With a working life of 3.5 minutes and an initial cure time of 1 hour (full cure in 24 hours), repairs can be carried out quickly and efficiently.
