In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00. 

An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready for collection.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Description

Powerful PU Foam Cleaner

Würth PU Foam Cleaner Purlogic Clean is a specialised acetone-based solvent designed to remove fresh polyurethane foam contamination quickly and effectively. It is suitable for both internal cleaning of PU foam guns and external cleaning of surrounding surfaces such as windows, doors, wood, and metal.

Gun-Compatible Aerosol Can

The 500ml aerosol can is designed for direct connection to PU foam guns. This allows thorough flushing of the internal system, removing residual foam deposits before they harden and ensuring smooth operation of the tool.

Dual Cleaning Function

In addition to gun cleaning, the product includes a clip-on red spray head for external use. This makes it possible to easily remove foam splashes and contamination from surfaces, fittings, and even clothing, provided the foam has not yet cured.

Safe and Effective Use

The formulation is silicone-free, acid-free, resin-free, and AOX-free, ensuring compatibility with most building substrates. However, due to the solvent strength, care must be taken on lacquered, painted, plastic, or textile surfaces, as etching, discolouration, or dissolution may occur.

Application Instructions

Internal Gun Cleaning:

  1. Remove the black cap from the can.
  2. Screw the cleaner can firmly into the gun adapter (do not overtighten or tilt).
  3. Allow the cleaner to act inside the gun for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Flush cleaner through the gun by pressing the trigger, directing the output into a suitable container until it runs clear.
  5. Repeat the process 2-3 times if necessary.
  6. Remove the cleaner can and store the gun depressurised.

External Cleaning:

  1. Attach the red spray head to the can.
  2. Spray contaminated surfaces directly and wipe with a clean cloth.
  3. Use immediately after contamination occurs - once PU foam hardens, removal requires mechanical means.

Usage Notes

  • Always test on an inconspicuous area before application.
  • May etch lacquer, paint, plastics, and cause discolouration in fabrics.
  • Store in a cool dry place away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Use only in well-ventilated areas.
