Description
High-Performance PTFE Protection for Welding Machines
The Würth PTFE Tape Surface Protector provides a durable, heat-resistant non-stick barrier for platen and welding machine surfaces. Its exceptional release and anti-adhesion properties ensure clean operation by preventing sticking, build-up, or contamination during welding processes.
Durable and Reliable in Extreme Conditions
With excellent chemical resistance and stability under temperature extremes, this PTFE tape is built for the tough conditions found in industrial and welding environments. It offers strong yet flexible adhesion that conforms well to surfaces while providing long-lasting protection.
Safe and Versatile
The tape is non-toxic and doubles as an electrical insulator, enhancing operator safety and extending its use beyond welding equipment to other high-demand industrial settings where non-stick, chemical-resistant protection is required.
Engineered for Welding Machine Surfaces
Designed with welding operations in mind, the PTFE Surface Protector Tape helps extend equipment life, maintain cleaner surfaces, and reduce downtime caused by adhesion failures.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and grease-free before application.
- Remove all remnants of old adhesive and/or PTFE tape from the platen.
- If operating temperatures exceed 130°C, gradually bring the newly covered surface up to full operating temperature over several hours.
- Allow the platen to cool before applying new tape - failure to do so may cause adhesion issues.
- Apply the tape with firm, even pressure to ensure full contact with the platen surface.
Usage Notes
- Failure to follow the above instructions may result in adhesion failure (not a fault of the product).
- Store in a cool, dry, shaded place at around 20°C with relative humidity between 45-70%.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight.
