Description

Universal Contact Adhesive

Würth Profile Rubber Adhesive is a high-quality polychloroprene-based adhesive designed for bonding a wide variety of materials in automotive, marine, and industrial applications. Its formulation ensures strong, flexible bonds with excellent durability in demanding conditions.

Fast and Reliable Bonding

The adhesive provides high initial adheision combined with quick drying properties, making it ideal for both rapid repair work and professional installation tasks. Once cured, the bond is transparent, delivering a clean and discreet finish.

Practical and Easy to Apply

Supplied in a 250ml can with a built-on brush, the adhesive is ready to use straight out of the container. Its smooth spreading properties make it easy to apply evenly, whether by hand brush or machine. For absorbent surfaces, a double application is recommended to achieve optimum bonding strength.

Durability and Resistance

The cured adhesive is resistant to water (including seawater), petrol, dilute acids, and alkali solutions, ensuring long-term stability even in challenging environments. Its resistance to ageing means it maintains strength and elasticity over time.

Typical Applications

Ideal for use in a wide range of sealing and bonding tasks, including:

  • Door and window rubbers.
  • Seals and insulating mats.
  • Vehicle and caravan lingings.
  • Boat fittings.
  • Bonding soles and PU foam sheets.

Not suitable for laying carpets.

Storage Guidelines

The adhesive should be stored in a cool, dry place between 15°C and 25°C, protected from heat and direct sunlight to preserve performance.
