In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00. 

An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready for collection.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Optimised Adhesion on Plastics

Würth Plastic Adhesion Promoter SR is a resin-based adhesion primer formulated for reliable bonding of paint and coatings to difficult plastic surfaces. By creating a thin, uniform film, it ensures consistent wetting of the substrate, preventing adhesion failures and flaking.

Precision Application

The aerosol system maintains a constant atomisation pressure, enabling a fine, even application layer of only 1–2 µm thickness. This controlled film ensures high yield and efficient product use, minimising waste while achieving professional-grade results.

Fast Drying for Efficient Workflow

With a drying time of just 15–20 minutes at 20°C, the product enables rapid progress in repair work. It can be directly overcoated with all commercially available topcoat systems, making it highly versatile in workshop environments.

Wide Substrate Compatibility

The adhesion promoter is suitable for a broad range of plastics including PP, PP/EPDM, ABS, SAN, PC, PA, PUR-RIM, R-TPU, PPO, PBT, PUR soft foam, and UP-GF plastics. This versatility makes it ideal for modern vehicle components and plastic parts across various industries.

Safe and Clean Formulation

The product is acid-free, chlorine-free, silicone-free, unleaded, and water-soluble, ensuring compatibility and reducing contamination risks during paint preparation.

Limitations

Not suitable for use on PE, Styrofoam, or synthetic resin-coated surfaces.

Application Instructions

  1. Lightly roughen the plastic surface and clean thoroughly with silicone remover. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and grease-free.
  2. Shake the can vigorously for approx. 2 minutes before use.
  3. Apply one thin spray pass (1-2 µm) from a distance of 20-30 cm.
  4. Allow to dry for 15-20 minutes at 20°C.
  5. Can be painted after approx. 10 minutes with all standard topcoat systems.

Usage Notes

  • After use, invert the can and spray until the valve is clear.
  • Apply only in well-ventilated areas.
  • Not suitable for PE, styrofoam, or resin-coated substrates.
