Description
Superior Zinc-Rich Coating
Würth Perfect Zinc Spray is a high-performance acrylic resin coating containing 91.5% zinc in the dry film with a zinc purity rating of 99%. By providing active cathodic protection, the coating acts as a sacrificial anode – if the surface is damaged, the zinc layer corrodes first, protecting the underlying steel.
Tested and Proven Corrosion Resistance
The product has undergone rigorous salt spray testing in accordance with DIN 50021, achieving 500 hours of resistance for Perfect Zinc Spray (and 250 hours for Perfect Zinc Spray Light). It can also be used for repair work in compliance with DIN EN ISO 1461.
Efficient Application
With a high layer thickness of 40 µm in the first spray pass, application time is reduced significantly. The adjustable spray head allows for both large-area coverage and precise spot repairs, while excellent resistance to running ensures uniform film build.
Durable Finish
The cured coating delivers a matt zinc appearance that combines abrasion resistance with excellent weathering durability. This makes it ideal for long-term maintenance, repair, and surface protection.
Limitations
Not suitable as a primer or adhesive base for PU, MS polymer, or hybrid sealing compounds.
