Specialist Headlight Repair Primer
Würth PC Adhesion Agent is a colourless 1C primer formulated for use in the restoration of damaged headlight diffusers. By improving adhesion between the sanded polycarbonate lens and the finishing clear coat, it ensures a long-lasting, durable repair that restores optical clarity and surface protection.

The spray system delivers a wide beam pattern with constant atomisation pressure, allowing for smooth, streak-free coating and efficient coverage. This guarantees a high-quality finish that meets professional repair standards.
Repair System Integration
The PC Adhesion Agent is an essential step in the headlight refurbishment process, acting as the bonding layer before clear varnish application. For full protection against UV damage and weathering, headlights should be finished with Würth Rapid 2C Clear Varnish (art. no. 5867 000 124).

Applied in just 1.5 spray passes, the primer dries with a flash-off time of 40 minutes at 20°C, making it efficient for workshop use. The result is a stable, receptive surface that ensures lasting adhesion of the protective topcoat.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Clean the headlight thoroughly.
- Sand the surface using dry sanding, followed by wet sanding.
- Inspect the diffuser and rework if necessary.
- Mask off the rear of the headlight unit.
- Clean the sanded parts with a dust binder cloth and Aqua silicone remover.
- Shake the can vigorously for 2 minutes and perform a spray test.
- Apply the PC adhesion agent in 1.5 spray passes.
- Allow to flash off for 40 minutes at 20°C.
- Overcoat with Würth Rapid 2C Clear Varnish (art. 5867 000 124) for UV and weather protection.
Usage Notes
- Apply only in well-ventilated environments.
- Use as part of the full headlight repair system for best results.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from frost and heat.
