Environmentally Friendly Premium Sealant
Würth Neutral Silicone Perfect is a high-quality, MEKO-free neutral cure silicone sealant designed for demanding construction and glazing applications. With its environmentally safe composition, it is classified as very low emission under the EMICODE EC1 Plus system, making it suitable for use in both residential and commercial projects where indoor air quality and sustainability are critical.
Certified Performance
The product meets strict requirements for glazing and construction sealants:
- DIN EN 15651 Parts 1/2/3: Sealants for facade elements, glazing, and sanitary joints.
- DIN 18545-2, Sealant Group E: Glazing requirements.
- Fire behaviour Class E.
- Stability under load: < 3mm.
- Volume loss: <10%.
- Elastic recovery: >=70%.
- Tensile Stress: <0.4 MPa.
Reliable Application
Designed for a wide variety of sealing tasks, Silicone Perfect offers excellent adhesion to wood, metals, plastics, glass, and many coated surfaces. It has outstanding compatibility with most paints and glazing coatings, though preliminary testing is always recommended.
Durability and Flexibility
With a continuous motion absorption of 25% and breaking elongation of 450%, the sealant remains permanently elastic under dynamic load. It demonstrates excellent resistance to UV, weathering, and ageing, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Professional Application Properties
The tack-free surface, short stringing, and very good smoothing properties ensure neat and precise joint finishes with minimal clean-up. Its high abrasion resistance makes it particularly well-suited to areas subject to wear.
Important Notes
Not suitable for bonding or cavity filling. Avoid direct contact with laminated glass films, VKP tape, and plasticiser-containing substances (e.g. butyl, bitumen) to prevent discolouration. Risk of yellowing cannot be excluded in shaded areas or in contact with alkyd resin paints. As with all silicones, a typical curing odour will be present during hardening, which disappears once fully cured. Colouration effects may also be influenced by environmental conditions such as vapour, smoke, or emissions from nearby surfaces.
