Description
Premium Neutral-Cure Sealant
Würth Neutral Silicone A8 Pro is a high-performance, odour-free, one-component sealant designed for professional sealing of joints in both indoor and outdoor applications. With its excellent adhesion properties and long-lasting elasticity, it provides reliable sealing performance for façade elements, glazing, and floor joints.
Versatile and Reliable Adhesion
The sealant bonds securely to a wide range of common construction materials without primer, including glass, aluminium (plain, painted, anodised), steel, enamel, tiles, coated panels, and hard PVC. With the use of primer, it adheres strongly to porous and absorbent substrates such as concrete, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, clinker, brick, gypsum, and plaster.
Durability and Environmental Safety
Tested for long-term exposure, Neutral Silicone A8 Pro is highly resistant to UV, ageing, and weathering. It provides permanent elasticity with 25% continuous motion absorption, making it ideal for expansion and connection joints. Its Emicode EC1+ certification ensures extremely low emissions, supporting sustainable building practices.
Certified Performance
The product complies with multiple international standards for professional sealing materials:
- EN 15651-1: Façade elements, class F-EXT-INT 25 LM.
- EN 15651-2: Glazing, class G-CC 25 LM.
- EN 15651-4: Floor joints, class PW-EXT-INT-CC.
- ISO 11600 F+G, class 25 LM.
- DIN 18545-2 E.
Important Notes
Neutral Silicone A8 Pro is not suitable for adhesive bonding or filling cavities. Excess smoothing agent on glass and frames must be removed immediately to prevent smearing. Risk of yellowing may occur when in contact with white alkyd resin paints or in shaded areas without UV exposure. Compatibility testing is required for polycarbonates, as stress cracks can appear, particularly at cut edges. After skin formation, do not spray liquids (such as water or smoothing agents) onto the joint, as spots may form.

Application Instructions
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and load-bearing.
- Observe recommended joint dimensions.
- Use PE back-fill material as necessary.
- Apply without primer on glass, aluminium, metals, enamel, tiles, coated panels, and hard PVC.
- For porous substrates (concrete, aerated concrete, plaster, gypsum, bricks, etc.), apply primer before use.
- Apply evenly with a suitable application gun and smooth with Würth Sealant Smoothing Agent before skin formation.
Usage and Safety Notes
- Always perform preliminary adhesion tests on varnished, coated, or non-standard surfaces.
- Avoid contact with VKP tape.
- Store product in a cool, dry, frost-free environment.
- Silicone odour may remain detectable for longer with wider joints.
