Würth MS High Tack Structural Adhesive
Würth MS High Tack Structural Adhesive
Key Features
- High initial tack with MS polymer basis - ensures strong adhesion without the need for support or accessories in most cases.
- Very high adhesive strength suitable for structural bonding across many materials.
- Permanently elastic once cured - compensates for expansion and vibration.
- Almost odourless, ensuring user comfort in enclosed environments.
- Free of isocyanates, phthalates, solvents, and silicones, making it safer for sensitive applications.
- Paintable after full curing with water-based or two-component paints (compatibility test recommended).

Description
High-Strength Adhesive with Immediate Grip
Würth MS High Tack Structural Adhesive is a next-generation MS polymer-based adhesive offering extreme initial adhesion for structural bonding applications. Its strong “high tack” properties minimise or eliminate the need for clamps, tapes, or other temporary fixing aids, improving workflow efficiency in construction, metalwork, and shipbuilding.
Permanent Elasticity
Once cured, the adhesive remains permanently elastic, accommodating thermal expansion, vibrations, and structural movement without compromising bond integrity. This makes it highly reliable for demanding applications in construction, bodywork, and marine environments.
Safe and Sustainable Formula
The formulation is free from isocyanates, solvents, phthalates, and silicones, ensuring reduced environmental impact and safe handling. Its low odour composition is particularly suitable for indoor use, even in poorly ventilated areas.
Versatile Application
Ideal for bonding:
- Panels and wooden lathes.
- Windowsills and mirrors.
- Insulating materials.
- Metal-to-metal connections in construction and bodywork.
- Shipbuilding and marine structural joints.
Notice:
- Not suitable for movement joints.
- For painting over, ensure the surface is cured, clean, and lightly roughened with abrasive paper. Always perform compatibility tests with paint systems.
- Not suitable for bonding PP, PE, Teflon, or bitumen.

Application Instructions
- Ensure the bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and grease-free.
- For optimum results, pre-treat with special cleaning agents and primers where necessary.
- Apply adhesive in vertical beads spaced approx. 30 cm apart.
- Ensure a minimum adhesive layer thickness of 3mm to allow proper ventilation and flexibility.
- Position and press components into place; temporary fixing is generally unnecessary due to high tack.
- Allow to cure under normal environmental conditions (moisture curing system).
Usage Notes:
- Processing temperature: 5°C to 40°C.
- Do not expose to water or paint before complete curing.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place at 5-25°C in original cartridge.
