Description

Reliable Medium-Strength Thread Retention

Würth Medium-Strength Threadlocker is a dimethacrylic ester-based anaerobic adhesive designed to lock and seal threaded fasteners against vibration, shock, and thermal cycling. Unlike mechanical retainers, it prevents loosening without causing unwanted locking problems, and connections can still be undone using normal tools.

High Performance Across Industries

Suitable for use in automotive, commercial vehicle, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, tool manufacturing, metalworking, and electrical applications, it is the ideal solution for securing screws, bolts, nuts, and plugs where medium-strength locking is required.

Durable and Resistant

The threadlocker provides excellent resistance to a wide range of fuels, oils, gases, and solvents while maintaining bond strength in demanding conditions. Once cured, it withstands continuous temperatures from –55 °C to +150 °C.

Efficient DOS System

With Würth’s DOS one-handed dispensing system, users benefit from precise, adjustable dosing, a clean application with no residue in the nozzle, and virtually complete emptying of the container. This reduces waste and makes the product highly cost-effective.

Safe Application on Metals

The formulation cures rapidly when in contact with metals in the absence of oxygen, achieving initial strength within 5–15 minutes and full curing in 1–3 hours. It is especially suited to copper and iron-containing substrates.
