Description
Effective Repair Solution for Light Wood Surfaces
The Würth Light-Coloured Soft Filling Waxes Assortment is specially designed to restore light-coloured wooden surfaces by repairing small defects quickly and efficiently. This product is ideal for areas that are not subjected to heavy stress, providing a practical and affordable alternative to complete surface replacement or lengthy refinishing work.
Wide Colour Range for Accurate Matching
The assortment includes a range of light brown shades suitable for matching different types of softwood and veneered surfaces. Since natural wood tones can vary widely depending on species, treatment, and origin, the waxes can also be blended together to create a more accurate colour match. This makes the assortment especially versatile for achieving professional-quality finishes across multiple projects.
Simple, Fast, and Precise Application
Application is straightforward: the soft wax can be shaved, pressed into the damaged area, and smoothed in just a few minutes. With a processing time of 2–3 minutes, the product enables quick and effective repairs even for multiple defects. Once applied, the repair can be enhanced by tracing the wood grain with touch-up materials, restoring the natural texture of the surface, and sealing with a clear varnish for protection.
Durable and Reliable Performance
Formulated on a soft wax chemical basis, the filler provides an excellent balance of easy handling and surface adhesion. With a softening point of 66 °C (ISO 2207) and a dripping point of 74 °C (DIN 51801), it is stable under normal indoor conditions. The wax is non-water-soluble and has a long shelf life of 4 years when stored at room temperature.
