Description
Quick and Accurate Leak Detection
Würth Leak Detector Plus is a professional-grade leak-detection foam designed to reliably identify leaks in gas and compressed-air systems. When applied, it forms stable foam bubbles that make even the smallest leaks and stress-induced leaks visible in seconds.
Safe and Versatile
Unlike traditional leak-detection sprays, Leak Detector Plus is non-flammable, making it suitable for use with flammable gases such as propane, butane, natural gas, and acetylene. It is also compatible with oxygen systems, ensuring safe use across technical and medical gas applications.
Material Protection
Its pH-neutral and non-corrosive formulation prevents damage to sensitive materials. It does not cause stress corrosion cracking in plastics (such as PVC and PE) and is safe for use on metals, making it ideal for long-term system maintenance.
Wide Application Range
- Compressed-air and compressed-gas equipment.
- Air-conditioning units and compressors.
- Welding equipment and air brake systems.
- Tyres, hoses, transport tanks, and cryogenic systems.
With an operating range from -15°C to 50°C, it is effective in both workshop and outdoor environments, even under cold conditions.

Application Instructions
- Shake the can before use.
- Spray the pressure-bearing parts or suspected leak area from a distance of approx. 40cm.
- Observe the surface: leaks are indicated by foam bubbles forming.
- For suspected micro-leaks, allow more time and monitor the foamed area closely.
- After inspection, rinse the treated parts with clean water to remove any residue.
Usage Notes
- Suitable for all technical and medical gases including nitrogen, propane, butane, natural gas, acetylene, carbon dioxide, argon, and compressed air.
- Store the can in a cool, dry place.
- Do not use on hot surfaces.
