8. Repeat if necessary — For heavily soiled components, apply additional spray to ensure complete contamination removal.
9. Allow complete drying — Allow the solvent to evaporate completely before reconnecting power or resuming electrical operation. Typical drying time is 5–10 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
10. Verify dryness — Ensure no visible moisture remains on the cleaned contacts before energising the circuit.
11. Test electrical function — Once dry, reconnect power and test the component to confirm functionality has been restored.
