Description

Professional Superglue with Easy Pen Technology

Würth Klebfix Easy Pen Superglue is a high-performance cyanoacrylate adhesive supplied in an ergonomically designed Easy Pen applicator. Its user-friendly design ensures precise control, effortless one-handed operation, and stable application, making it suitable for both professional workshops and quick repair tasks.

Fast and Strong Bonding

This adhesive cures within 2-90 seconds (depending on material), allowing rapid bonding of metal, plastic, and rubber parts. It enables immediate further processing, reducing downtime during assembly or repair.

Duraboility and Performance

Once cured, the adhesive forms a transparent, high-strength bond with excellent resistance to ageing and climatic conditions. It also withstands temperatures from -30°C to 80°C, ensuring long-term reliability in diverse environments.

Certified for Drinking Water Applications

Würth Klebfix Easy Pen Superglue is NSF registered (Class P1, reg. no. 151994) and has been NSF/ANSI 61 tested, confirming its suitablity for use in service water and drinking water systems. This makes it ideal for plumbing, sanitary, and industrial water system repairs.

Blooming Effect Consideration

Due to the vapour pressure of liquid cyanoacrylate adhesives, excess material around the bonding area may cure slowly, resulting in a white residue (blooming effect). This can be removed with isopropyl alcohol or acetone, provided the substrates are resistant to these solvents. Blooming can be minimised by applying adhesive economically, maintaining adequate air humidity, and ensurg good ventilation during use.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and grease-free.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer to one bonding surface only.
  3. Press parts together immediately, applying sufficient pressure to achieve full surface contact.
  4. Hold in place until initial bonding strength is achieved (typically within 2-90 seconds, depending on substrate).

Usage Notes:

  • Processing temperature range: 5°C to 35°C.
  • Maximum gap size: 0.1mm.
  • Apply sparingly - too much adhesive may delay curing and increase blooming.
  • Pre-treatment recommendations are available in the technical data sheet.
