Description

High-Performance Heat Resistance

Würth Heat-Resistant Paint Spray is specially developed for temperature-stressed parts in automotive, household, and industrial applications. Its silicone resin-based formulation withstands continuous exposure to temperatures up to 650 °C, making it highly reliable for extreme environments.

Durable and Weather-Resistant

The cured coating is resilient against weather and environmental influences, ensuring long-lasting protection. With a matt finish in Jet Black (RAL 9005), it delivers both technical performance and a professional aesthetic.

Simple and Effective Application

Unlike many coating systems, this heat-resistant spray requires no primer and no post-treatment with clear coats. The paint adheres directly to properly prepared substrates, reducing preparation time. The coating only fully hardens at temperatures above +250 °C, so parts should be heated gradually after application.

Versatile Use Cases

This product is ideal for coating components that are frequently exposed to extreme heat, including:

  • Exhaust systems and manifolds.
  • Grills, ovens, and heating boilers.
  • Industrial machinery and temperature-stressed housings.
  • Other high-temperature structural components.

More Information

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the can vigorously before use.
  2. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease, rust, and old paint residues.
  3. Hold the can at a spraying distance of 10-15cm.
  4. Apply a thin first coat.
  5. Allow to flash off for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Apply a final even coat to achieve a dry film thickness of 20-30 µm.
  7. For full curing, heat the coated parts gradually to above 250°C.

Usage Notes

  • Do not exceed recommended film thickness.
  • Minimum can processing temperature: 5°C.
  • Store between 15-25°C, max 60% relative humidity.
  • Not suitable for coating moving parts or areas exposed to continuous mechanical wear.
