In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00. 

An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready for collection.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Würth Gearbox Performance Improver is a high-performance additive concentrate designed to upgrade the protective and lubricating qualities of manual gearbox oils. Its OMC² technology forms a strong lubricating film that reduces metal-to-metal contact, minimises wear, and ensures smooth gear operation under high load conditions.

Enhanced Protection and Performance

By stabilising viscosity and slowing oil ageing, the improver extends the service life of gear oils and protects gearbox components against corrosion, wear, and deposit formation. The result is a gearbox that remains cleaner, more efficient, and better protected for longer.

Drivers benefit from smoother and more precise gear shifts, while unwanted gearbox noise caused by friction is significantly reduced. This makes it not only a protective solution but also an enhancement to driving quality.

Preventative and Curative Application

The product can be used preventively at each gear oil change or repair, as well as to address problems such as gearbox noise or shifting difficulties.

Application Instructions

  1. Warm up the gearbox oil by running the engine.
  2. Shake the can well.
  3. Screw on the supplied filler hose and tilt the valve to add the contents directly into the gearbox oil.
  4. Dosage: The additive must not exceed 10% of the total gearbox oil volume. One 125ml can is sufficient for 2.5 litres of gearbox oil.

Usage Notes

  • Suitable for all manual gearboxes with mineral or synthetic oils.
  • Not suitable for polyglycol oils.
  • Recommended for use during gearbox repairs, oil changed, or when symptoms such as noise or shifting issues occur.
