Description
oProfessional PVC Cold-Welding Adhesive
Würth FSK System Adhesive is a vinyl chloride polymer-based adhesive developed for high-strength cold welding of hard PVC materials. Its advanced formulation ensures reliable bonding for demanding construction, sanitary, and trade applications.
Precise, User-Friendly Application
The adhesive’s thixotropic setting prevents dripping during vertical or overhead applications, making it highly practical for construction sites and workshop use. It is designed for gap-bridging up to 0.1 mm, enabling friction-locking joints with minimal adhesive bleed-through.
Durability and Resistance
Once cured, the adhesive forms a weatherproof and UV-resistant bond, making it suitable for outdoor installations such as plastic windows, cover strips, and structural PVC profiles. It provides long-lasting resistance to water, petrol, oil, and alcohol, and offers short-term resistance to diluted acids and lyes.
Fast and Strong Bonding
With a functional strength achieved within 2–4 minutes, the FSK adhesive enables quick handling, while full curing occurs within 24 hours (at 20°C). Depending on load and material, complete hardness may take up to 8 weeks.
Applications
- Plastic window construction - bonding angular fillets, cover strips, and hard PVC profiles.
- Sanitary and plumbing work - cold welding of PVC pipes (excluding high-pressure).
- Trade fair and sign construction - bonding rigid foam panels and structural PVC boards.
- Vehicle and construction applications - joining non-pressurised hard PVC components.

Application Instructions
- Clean PVC bonding surfaces thoroughly with Würth Cleaner Type 10 to remove dirt, grease, and contaminants.
- Apply a thin, even layer of the adhesive to one side of the joint.
- Press the components together immediately (within 30-60 seconds) and hold until functional strength is achieved (2-4 minutes).
- Adhesive reaches handling strength after a few minutes, full curing after approx. 24 hours.
Usage Notes
- Processing temperature range: 5°C to 35°C.
- Adhesive consumption: approx. 8g per metre for a 20mm wide bar / max 400g/m^2 in surface bonding.
- Use in well-ventilated areas.
- Avoid over-application to prevent weak points or bleed-through.
Safety Warnings
