In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00. 

An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready for collection. 

Free Shipping

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Universal Contact Adhesive

Würth Extra Universal Adhesive is a neoprene-based contact adhesive designed for surface bonding across a broad range of materials. Its versatile bonding ability makes it an essential product for both professional tradespeople and general use.

The adhesive provides high resistance to diluted acids, alkaling solutions, water, and alcohol, making it suitable for use in environments where chemical exposure or moisture contact is expected.

Easy to Apply and Finish

The adhesive is designed for efficient application using a brush or fine-tooth spatula (approx. 1mm). Once cured, it can be painted over with most common paints, allowing seamless integration into a finished project.

Limitations

This adhesive is not suitable for use on polystyrene, soft PVC, PVC films, polyethylene (PE), or polypropylene (PP). For best results, smooth bonding surfaces should be lightly sanded prior to application. The product also has limited resistance to moisture, so use in constantly damp or submerged conditions is not recommended.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or dust.
  2. Apply a generous, uniform later of adhesive to both bonding surfaces using a brush or a fine-tooth spatula (approx. 1mm tooth depth).
  3. Allow a flash-off time of 10-15 minutes until the adhesive becomes tacky.
  4. Align and press the parts together quickly and firmly.
  5. Surfaces must be bonded within 45 minutes of applying the adhesive for optimal results.

Usage Notes:

  • Do not use on polystyrene, soft PVC, PVC films, PE, or PP.
  • Lightly sand smooth or glossy surfaces before application to improve adhesion.
  • Ensure proper ventilation during use.
  • Limited resistance to long-term moisture exposure - not suitable for submerged applications.

  • Contains solvents - use in a well-ventilated area.
  • Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
  • Avoid skin and eye contact; wear protective gloves and goggles.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
