Description
Reliable Acetate-Curing Sealant
Würth E6 BAS Silicone Acetate is a high-quality, acetate-curing silicone designed for professional sealing of connecting, expansion, and construction joints. With strong resistance to ageing, UV radiation, and weathering, it provides durable joint performance both indoors and outdoors.
Versatile Application Range
Ideal for wall and floor connection joints, glazing, and general sealing work, E6 BAS is suitable for use in cold climates, where stability during curing is required. The coloured variant of this sealant is bitumen-proof, enabling secure use in roofing and waterproofing applications.
Durability and Flexibility
The sealant offers 25% continuous motion absorption, a Shore A hardness of 18, and a breaking elongation of 150%. These properties ensure flexibility and resilience under joint movement while maintaining long-term integrity of the seal.
Professional Finish
Würth E6 BAS applies smoothly and cures consistently, delivering a neat, professional appearance. While compatible with many paints, preliminary testing should be carried out to confirm suitability. Slight discolouration may occur under certain conditions.
Important Notes
Preliminary testing is recommended for all substrates, especially when paint or coating compatibility is required. Discolouration may occur in certain environments or when exposed to specific substrates.
