Ideal for wall and floor connection joints, glazing, and general sealing work, E6 BAS is suitable for use in cold climates, where stability during curing is required. The coloured variant of this sealant is bitumen-proof, enabling secure use in roofing and waterproofing applications.

Durability and Flexibility

The sealant offers 25% continuous motion absorption, a Shore A hardness of 18, and a breaking elongation of 150%. These properties ensure flexibility and resilience under joint movement while maintaining long-term integrity of the seal.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure all surfaces are load-bearing, clean, dry, and free of grease or contaminants.
  2. Observe joint dimensions as recommended in the technical data sheet.
  3. Insert PE back-fill material as required.
  4. On absorbent surfaces such as concrete, pre-treat with primer.
  5. Apply evenly with a cartridge gun.
  6. Smooth the sealant before skin formation using a smoothing agent.

Safety and Usage Notes

  • Carry out preliminary adhesion and paint-compatibility testing before full application.
  • Not suitable for permanent water immersion or food-contact areas. Store cartridges in a cool, dry, frost-free environment.
