Würth DPF Cleaner Concentrate is a specialised catalytic additive designed to be added directly into the fuel system. It ensures the soot trapped in diesel particulate filters ignites at a lower temperature, allowing regeneration to take place more effectively under typical driving conditions, especially for vehicles frequently used in short-distance or urban cycles.

Restore Power and Prevent Downtime

Blocked or inefficiently regenerating DPFs cause loss of power, increased fuel consumption, warning lights, and limp mode. By ensuring soot burns away more completely, this product restores proper exhaust flow and helps avoid costly repairs or replacements.

Dual Function: Cure and Prevention

  • Curative use: Assists with regeneration of partially blocked DPFs and clearing faults when used as directed.
  • Preventative use: When added regularly (e.g., every second refuel), it helps lower the burn point of soot, ensuring smooth regeneration and extending filter life.

For heavily clogged filters where regeneration is not possible, use in combination with Würth Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner for a full cleaning process.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure fuel tank is at least half full.
  2. Add the entire contents (150ml) directly into the fuel tank. One can treats up to 60 litres of diesel fuel.
  3. Drive the vehicle normally, preferably under load, to assist regeneration.
  4. Repeat dosing every second refuelling for vehicles with regular urban or short-cycle use.

Usage Notes

  • Do not overdose.
  • Safe for all diesel engines with DPF systems.
  • If warning lights remain after treatment, a deeper clean with Würth Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner is required.
