High-Performance, Permanently Plastic Sealing Compound
Würth DP 300 Engine and Housing Sealing Compound is a non-hardening polyurethane-based sealant engineered for use in high-demand sealing applications. Its permanently plastic properties ensure long-lasting flexibility and leak-free performance, even under extreme temperature fluctuations, vibration, and exposure to aggressive fluids.
Outstanding Thermal and Chemical Resistance
This compound maintains its sealing integrity between -50°C and 270°C, and tolerates brief thermal peaks up to 300°C. Its unique formulation resists water, air, petrol, kerosene, synthetic and mineral oils, antifreeze mixtures, fluorocarbon refrigerants, and methanol-based coolants, making it suitable for critical environments in engines, turbines, and industrial machinery.
Permanently Plastic and Non-Hardening
Unlike conventional silicone or anaerobic sealants, Würth DP 300 remains plastic and elastic, providing a reliable seal without becoming brittle or losing adhesion over time. It compensates for expansion and contraction of metal and plastic surfaces caused by heat cycles, ensuring consistent sealing performance.
Exceptional Workability and Application Control
The compound's thixotropic consistency prevents dripping or sagging, even when applied on vertical or inverted surfaces. It also does not pull into threads, enabling precise sealing without obstructing screw connections. Application is smooth, clean, and predictable, providing professional results across a range of materials.
Corrosion Protection and Material Compatibility
The non-reactive polyurethane base provides a physical, non-chemical seal, preventing corrosion by excluding moisture and air. It does not bond permanently to metal or plastic surfaces, allowing easy disassembly and maintenance while maintaining full sealing integrity.
Certified for Industrial and Food-Safe Use
Würth DP 300 carries NSF P1 registration (Reg. No. 151822) for use in environments where incidental contact with food products is possible. It is also approved by leading automotive manufacturers and by the Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement, confirming its reliability for professional and industrial applications.
