In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

Würth D4 Ready Mixed Wood Glue is a high-performance adhesive designed for demanding adhesive for demanding woodworking tasks. With its ready-to-use formulation, this glue eliminates the need for mixing, saving both time and effort in workshop or site applications.

Superior Bond Strength

Engineered for maximum durability, the adhesive develops a strong and lasting bond on a wide range of wood types, making it ideal for professional furniture production, veneering, laminating, and general joinery. Its performance ensures secure joints that withstand the stresses of long-term use.

D4 Water Resistance

This adhesive conforms to BS EN 204 D4 standards, ensuring excellent water resistance. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including conditions where joints are exposed to frequent and prolonged water contact or high humidity.

The glue is highly adaptable, with a fast-setting formula and an open assembly time of up to 15 minutes, depending on materials, wood porosity, and local conditions. Equipment can be easily cleaned with warm or cold water while the adhesive is still wet, reducing downtime and keeping tools in optimal condition.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure bonded surfaces are smooth, clean, and free from dust or contaminants.
  2. Maintain an ambient temperature of at least 20°C during bonding.
  3. Ensure the wood moisture content is 7-13% and of uniform thickness. Dense hardwoods may require sanding before bonding.
  4. Apply adhesive to one surfaces at a rate of 120-250 g/m^2. For end-grain bonding, apply to both surfaces.
  5. Position materials and apply pressure while the adhesive remains wet.
  6. Maintain pressing pressure at 30 psi (2 kg/cm^2) for optimal bond strength.
  7. Open assembly time is a maximum of 15 minutes, depending on substrate porosity and environmental conditions.
  8. Clean equipment immediately after use with warm or cold water.
