Würth D3 PVA Wood Glue is a professional-grade adhesive designed for all woodworking applications where strong, water-resistant bonding is essential. Formulated as a one-part modified polyvinyl alcohol-stabilised vinyl acetate homopolymer emulsion, this adhesive delivers reliable results for both indoor and outdoor joinery projects.

Flexible Processing Options

Würth D3 PVA Wood Glue can be applied via roller, brush, or serrated glue spreader, and is effective in both hot and cold pressing. It is also compatible with radio frequency bonding, making it highly adaptable to various production methods.

With excellent creep resistance and freeze-thaw stability, this adhesive ensures long-lasting performance under stress. It also meets BS 4071 standards, guaranteeing bond strength and durability against sustained loads.

Application Instructions

  1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, or contaminants.
  2. Substrate and ambient temperature should be at least 20°C.
  3. Wood moisture content should be uniform and not exceed 12%.
  4. Apply adhesive to one surface only using a brush, roller, or serrated glue spreader.
  5. Recommended spread rate: 150 g/m^2.
  6. Open assembly time: up to 30 minutes, depending on wood type and conditions.
  7. Position materials and apply pressure while adhesive is still wet.
  8. Minimum pressing pressure: 30 psi.
  9. Suitable for hot pressing, cold pressing, or RF curing.

Usage and Safety Notes

  • Do not use if wood moisture exceeds 12%.
  • Store between 5°C and 35°C; avoid freezing.
  • Shelf life: 12 months from production date when stored correctly.
  • The performance additive remains effective for only 24 hours once mixed.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.
