Description

Long-Term Cavity Protection

Würth Cavity Wax Plus is a high-quality preservation wax designed to protect the inner cavities of vehicles from corrosion. Its exceptional creep ability allows the wax to flow deeply into folds, flanges, and overlaps, ensuring even the most inaccessible areas receive complete coverage.

Water-Displacing Action

Formulated with a strong moisture-repellent effect, the product actively penetrates damp areas, displacing water before forming a durable barrier against rust. This makes it particularly effective for repairing or re-treating vehicles where corrosion risk is already present.

Safe and Versatile Application

Free from aromatic compounds, Cavity Wax Plus is suitable for use on painted surfaces, rubber, and plastic components without causing damage or reaction. Its temperature resilience ensures consistent performance across a wide range of climates, maintaining flexibility in cold conditions and stability under heat.

Efficient Coverage and Durability

With its very high solids content and VOC-reduced formulation, Cavity Wax Plus provides maximum protection with minimal product consumption. Just a thin 50 μm coating delivers reliable, long-term preservation, making it ideal for both professional repair work and long-lasting maintenance treatments.

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the can well before use.
  2. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from rust and grease where possible.
  3. Apply a thin coat of cavity wax using a pressure cup spray gun with the appropriate probe.
  4. Depending on the area, apply directly or with the probe to reach concealed cavities.
  5. Maintain an operating pressure of 6 bar for optimal atomisation.
  6. Allow curing under normal ambient conditions.
  7. After use, turn the aerosol can upside down and spray until the nozzle is empty.

Usage Notes

  • Ideal material temperature: 10°C to 30°C.
  • Do not apply outside recommended temperature range.
  • Shelf life: 24 months from production when stored correctly between 10°C and 30°C.
