Description
Advanced Brake Fluid for Modern Vehicles
Würth Brake Fluid DOT 4+ is a high-performance hydraulic fluid developed to meet the demanding requirements of modern braking systems, with particular suitability for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Its formulation based on glycol ethers ensures exceptional protection, thermal stability, and long-lasting reliability.
Corrosion and Wear Protection
The fluid provides excellent resistance against corrosion, protecting both iron and non-ferrous compnonents such as aluminium and copper alloys. This ensures longer service life of brake components and reduced maintenance costs.
Thermal Stability and Compatibility
With a high boiling point and superior thermal stability, Würth DOT 4+ prevents vapour lock and brake fade even under extreme conditions. Its compatibility with rubber seals and hoses ensures safe and leak-free operation throughout the system's lifetime.
Versatile Applications
In addition to braking systems, the fluid is also suitable for hydraulic clutch systems, ensuring smooth, reliable performance across multiple hydraulic applications.

Application Instructions
- Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's service instructions when filling or changing brake fluid.
- Replace brake fluid at the recommended intervals (generally every 2 years).
- Use only new brake fluid from a sealed original container.
- Brake fluid can be mixed with other DOT 3 and DOT 4 products meeting FMVSS 116, SAE J1703/1704, or ISO 4925.
Usage Notes
- Brake fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs water). Keep container sealed to prevent moisture contamination.
- Never mix with automatic transmission fluids (ATF) or mineral oils.
- Avoid contact with painted surface; brake fluid can damage paint. If spilled, wash immediately with plenty of water.
- The original lid must always be used for storage; dispensing taps do not protect the fluid from moisture ingress.
