Description
High-Performance Elastic Adhesive
Würth Bond + Seal Fast Structural Adhesive is a high-strength, permanently elastic polyurethane sealant designed for demanding applications in automotive, industrial, and construction environments. Its exceptional adhesion to plain, primed, or painted sheet metal ensures secure, long-lasting joints. The product is also formulated to compensate for tolerances and bridge gaps, making it ideal for seams, joints, and uneven connections.
Fast and Efficient Curing
With a short skin formation time (19–20 minutes under standard conditions), this adhesive becomes tack-free quickly, allowing rapid handling and painting. Once cured, it can be sanded, mechanically processed, and painted without the need for surface activation.
Application Versatility
Its high stability and brushable texture make application straightforward — whether by nozzle, spatula, or brush. The adhesive can even be structured for a clean finish with minimal effort. Thanks to its permanent elasticity, it’s perfectly suited for sealing overlapping seams, visible joints, spot-welded seams, sheet-metal connection joints, and folded seams both indoors and outdoors.
Safe and Certified for Sensitive Areas
Würth Bond + Seal carries an ISEGA food-grade certificate, meaning it is harmless to health in its cured state. This makes it suitable for sealing applications in food-processing environments. It is silicone-free, non-corrosive, and virtually odourless, ensuring safer use across a wide range of industries.
Durability and Resistance
Once cured, the adhesive offers excellent temperature resistance from -40°C up to +90°C (short-term up to 120°C), and withstands exposure to fuels, mineral oils, animal fats, and vegetable oils. Its 600% elongation at break and strong tear resistance ensure flexibility without compromising strength.
Notice:
- Not suitable for glass groove sealing where UV back reflection occurs.
- Direct sunlight may cause slight surface yellowing.
- Avoid contact with alkyd-resin paint systems.

Application Instructions
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of grease.
- Avoid applying to surfaces with high surface moisture.
- Cut off the cartridge thread cap and attach the nozzle.
- Trim nozzle to the required bead width.
- Apply using a suitable application gun.
- Recommended minimum adhesive layer thickness is 3mm for optimal thick-coat bonding performance.
- Smooth or structure using a spatula or brush before skin formation begins.
- Once skin forms (approx. 20 min), the product can be overpainted. Always perform preliminary compatibility tests.
Usage Notes:
- Avoid contact with alkyd resin paints.
- Excessive moisture, overly thick beads, or trapped cavities can cause bubble formation.
- Direct UV exposure may lead to disoclouration (cosmetic only).
