Description
All-Weather Performance
Würth All-Weather Sealant is specifically engineered to perform in challenging environmental conditions, making it a dependable choice for roofing, guttering, and outdoor sealing work. Unlike conventional sealants, it can be applied to wet, damp, or even submerged surfaces, ensuring immediate adhesion even in pouring rain or cold weather.
Durability and Resistance
The formulation provides long-term resistance to weathering and mould, ensuring joints remain sealed and protected over time. With a continuous motion absorption of 25 % and a Shore A hardness of 38, the sealant remains permanently elastic, accommodating structural movement without cracking or loss of adhesion.
Versatile Applications
Compatible with roof sheets, membranes, bituminous surfaces, skylight and chimney flanges, corrugated and trapezoidal sheet joints, this sealant is a versatile solution for both emergency repairs and planned roofing works. Its ability to bond in adverse weather allows work to continue without delays.
Paintable and Practical
Once fully cured, Würth All-Weather Sealant can be painted (compatibility tests recommended), making it suitable where aesthetic integration is required. It cures effectively under a range of environmental conditions, with skin formation in 5–10 minutes depending on substrate and climate.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Ensure the surface is as clean as possible (remove dust, grease, and loose debris).
- Apply directly from the cartridge to the joint or repair area.
- For underwater or rain-soaked surfaces, press the sealant firmly into place to ensure adhesion.
- Smooth immediately after application if required.
- Allow to cure fully before applying paint or subjecting the joint to mechanical stress.
Usage Notes:
- Not suitable for natural stone (granite, sandstone, marble etc.).
- Do not use for aquariums, terrariums, or glazing applications.
- Not for direct contact with food, medical, or pharmaceutical applications.
- Avoid application on PE, PP, copper, copper alloys, silver mirror backing, or polystyrene.
- If painting, always perform a trial test, especially with solvent based paints.
- May damage solvent-sensitive surfaces - test on an inconspicuous area first.
