Preventative Micro-Leak Sealing

Würth Air-Conditioning Leak Stop Plus is specially designed for sealing micro-leaks in vehicle A/C systems, ensuring long-term reliability and reduced refrigerant loss. Unlike products containing polymers, it does not form hard deposits that can clog components or damage service units.

Enhanced Compressor Protection

The additive contains ester oil, which improves lubrication within the compressor. This reduces wear, extends service life, and ensures more efficient refrigerant compression, thereby optimising system performance.

Dual-Function Leak Detection

In addition to sealing, this additive also contains a highly fluorescent UV dye. This enables quick and reliable detection of leaks with the use of standard UV lamps, saving time in diagnostics and preventing future system failures.

Universal Compatibility

Compatible with R134a and R1234yf systems and safe for use with mineral, ester, and PAG oils, Leak Stop Plus is suitable for virtually all vehicle air-conditioning systems.

Application Instructions

  1. Remove the protective caps from both the low-pressure (blue) and high-pressure (red) A/C connections.
  2. Use an air-conditioning service unit to evacuate the circuit and extract the refrigerant.
  3. Create a vacuum for at least 10 minutes, then maintain at a minimum of 60% for another 10 minutes.
  4. Before connecting the Leak Stop Plus can to the low-pressure port, purge the hose slowly with product to eliminate air.
  5. Turn the can upside down and fill the cooling circuit for approximately 20 seconds via the low-pressure connection.
  6. Disconnect the Leak Stop Plus from the low-pressure port.
  7. Refill the cooling system with refrigerant in line with manufacturer specifications.
  8. Disconnect the service unit and replace the protective caps on the low- and high-pressure connections.
  9. Run the air-conditioning system for 15-20 minutes to distribute the additive throughout the circuit.

Important Safety Notes

  • Do not connect to the high-pressure side of the A/C circuit. This may cause the container to burst leading to injury.
  • For professional use only - always follow vehicle manufacturer specifications and workshop safety guidelines.
