In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00.

We offer free Standard (2-3 Days) shipping on orders within the United Kingdom on orders over £100. Please note, some large items that require specialist courier companies, such as large mirrors and palleted items are excluded from this deal.

The Würth A/C Leak Detection Additive allows technicians to quickly locate leaks and micro-leaks in R134a and R1234yf air conditioning systems, even without an A/C service unit. The portable cartridge format makes this product particularly useful for mobile service operations and on-site repairs.

High Dye Concentration for Maximum Visibility

Containing a super-concentrated fluorescent dye, leaks can be easily detected under UV light. This ensures that even the smallest leaks are identified quickly, minimising system downtime and avoiding unnecessary component replacement.

Protective Additive Package - QuietCool Technology

Unlike basic UV dyes, this additive also restores and protects A/C system performance. QuietCool Technology improves compressor lubrication, reduces friction, quiets noisy operation, and enhances overall system efficiency. The anti-wear and antioxidant agents extend oil and component life, making this additive a dual-purpose leak detection and performance enhancer.

Safe and Versatile

The product is solvent-free, hybrid-safe, and compatible with all compressor oils (PAG and POE), meaning it can be safely used across a wide variety of vehicles including hybrid, start/stop, and full electric models. Its non-flammable formulation makes it safe to handle and apply in workshop environments.

More Information

Application Instructions

  1. Attach the correct adapter: Art. no. 0764000114 for R134a systems. Art. no. 0764000110 for R1234yf systems.
  2. Screw the filling adapter securely onto the A/C leak detection dye cartridge.
  3. Insert the filling adapter into the press-out tool.
  4. Inject the entire 7.5ml cartridge into the A/C circuit via the low-pressure side.
  5. Run the A/C system to circulate the dye throughout the system.
  6. Inspect system joints, hoses, and components under UV light to locate fluorescent traces at leak points.

Usage Notes

  • For professional workshop use only.
  • Always follow vehicle manufacturer servicing guidelines.
  • Shelf life: 2 years when stored in sealed containers at ambient conditions.
