In-Store Pickup

In-Store pickup is available on all purchase. Pickups are available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00–17:00.

Würth 1C Ultimate Windscreen Adhesive is a moisture-curing, high-modulus polyurethane adhesive developed for professional windscreen replacement and body glass bonding across all vehicle types. It provides excellent strength, durability, and safety compliance, making it the ideal solution for workshops and automotive repair specialists.

Certified Safety Performance

Crash-tested and certified by TÜV, the adhesive meets the stringent requirements of FMVSS208/212. It ensures safe and reliable installation, with a drive-away time of just 1 hour for vehicles with airbags and 30 minutes for vehicles without airbags, depending on ambient conditions.

Vehicle Manufacturer Standard Compliance

The adhesive is fully compliant with OEM standards, supporting use in vehicles with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and integrated aerials. Its non-conductive formulation prevents signal interference while ensuring structural integrity.

Application Instructions

  1. Work in a clean and controlled environment to prevent contamination.
  2. Use only with Würth system components for correct application and safe performance.
  3. Prepare bonding surfaces in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  4. Apply Würth Varioprimer to freshly painted surfaces and allow to fully cure before adhesive application.
  5. Apply adhesive bead following the OEM-recommended bead geometry.
  6. Install the windscreen promptly within the open time (max. 15 minutes at 23°C/50% RH).
  7. Observe drive-away times.
  8. Allow curing to progress at 4mm per day to full strength.

Safety and Usage Notes

  • Do not park the vehicle on a lifting platform during curing.
  • Observe bead geometry requirements set by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Always wear protective gloves and eyewear during use.
  • Ensure adequate ventilaiton.
  • Shelf life: 12 months when stored between 5°C and 25°C.
