Description
High-Performance Waterproofing for Demanding Applications
Würth 1C Liquid Plastic Pro is a universal polyurethane-based waterproofing system, designed for long-lasting sealing of a wide range of building components. It can be applied directly from the container without mixing, ensuring reliable results and minimal waste.
Certified and Tested System
The product meets European Technical Approval (ETAG 005) guidelines and carries general construction authority approvals. It is compliant with the following standards:
- DIN 18531 - waterproofing of roofs, balconies, walkways.
- DIN 18532 - waterproofing of concrete areas trafficable by vehicles.
- DIN 18533 - waterproofing of building elements in soil contact.
- DIN 18535 - waterproofing of tanks and pools.
Additionally, it achieves BROOF (t1-t4) fire protection classification according to DIN EN 13501-5 and class E in DIN EN 13501-1.
Durable and Versatile
With its UV, alkali, and hydrolysis resistance, 1C Liquid Plastic Pro withstands harsh weather and environmental conditions. Its elastic and crack-bridging properties provide secure sealing even on moving substrates.
Efficient Application
- Rainproof after only 60 minutes at 20°C.
- Long open time allows secure handling on large surfaces.
- Partial usage possible - unlike multi-component systems, unused material can be stored for future use.
- Available in 25kg containers with optimised viscosity for large surface applications.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Ensure substrate is clean, dry (=<6% residual moisture), grease- and oil-free.
- Substrate adhesive strength must be >= 1.5N/mm^2.
- Remove cement laitance and ensure no standing water is present.
- Substrate temperature: 5°C to 35°C and at least 3°C above dew point.
- Stir material thoroughly before use.
- Apply first layer at approx. 2 kg/m^2 using a brush or roller.
- Immediately embed 110 g/m^2 fleece inlay, ensuring bubble-free integration.
- Apply second layer at approx. 1 kg/m^2 wet-on-wet.
- Ensure a minimum total layer thickness of 2.1 mm.
- For upturned edges: apply to at least 15cm above surface height.
- For overlaps: ensure 10cm overlap with foreign material and 5cm overlap when overlapping with itself.
- Rainproof after approx. 60 min at 20°C.
- Fully cured afer 24 h (depending on climate and layer thickness).
Usage Notes
- Do not apply under conditions of standing water or with risk of rear moisture saturation.
- Always observe the dew point table and DIN regulations (e.g. flat roof directive by ZVDH).
- Perform test areas before large-scale application.
- Store sealed containers between 10°C and 30°C.
