Description
Professional-Grade Polyuretane Adhesive
Würth 1-Part Purlogic Adhesive is a polyurethane-based spray adhesive designed for fast, durable, and economical bonding in construction applications. The ready-to-use formulation offers powerful adhesion immediately upon application, making it ideal for quick installation of panels, partition walls, and a wide range of building materials.
Strong, Fast, and Clean Application
Thanks to its low expansion rate and rapid drying, this adhesive allows precise positioning of panels and parts without shrinkage. Panels can be pressed into place within minutes, ensuring time savings on site while delivering a secure, long-lasting bond. Its vertical application capability makes it particularly effective for wall insulation and partitioning tasks.
Durable and Resistant
Once cured, the adhesive forms a flexible, rot-proof, and mould-resistant bond with high mechanical strength. It also provides thermal and acoustic insulation properties, improving the overall performance of building systems. The cured adhesive is resistant to solvents, paints, and a wide range of chemicals, ensuring long-term stability.
Versatile Use in Construction
Suitable for bonding insulation boards, drywall systems, aerated concrete, non-load bearing walls, electrical junction boxes, and more. It adheres to concrete, plaster, brick, stone, timber, cork, steel, galvanised steel, rigid PVC, bituminous substrates, and polystyrene.
More Information
Application Instructions
- Shake the aerosol vigorously for 30 seconds before use.
- Screw the can onto a PU foam gun.
- Protect surrounding surfaces before application.
- Clean and degrease the surfaces to be bonded.
- During use, shake the can regularly to maintain consistency.
- Apply adhesive in 30mm lines, maintaining approx. 3 cm from the edge.
- For insulation panels:
- Ensure at least 40% coverage when pressing panels into place.
- Light panels can be applied immediately; for heavier panels, wait 4-8 minutes depending on weather.
- Press firmly for 30-60 seconds and adjust position if necessary.
- Additional temporary fixing may be required for some materials.
8. For non-load bearing walls:
- Apply adhesive horizontally in 30 mm lines.
- No woating time required before bonding.
Usage Notes
- Fresh adhesive can be removed with acetone or suitable solvents.
- Hardened adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
- Product is not UV-resistant; avoid permanent sunlight exposure.
- Hazardous - always follow safety precautions.
- Not suitable for bonding to glass, wool, mineral wool, silicone, PE, PP, or PTFE.
