Dual-Mode Glider for All Skill Levels

The WL Toys XK A800 is a versatile RC glider designed to suit both beginners and experienced pilots thanks to its switchable 3D / 6G flight control system. With the ability to change flight modes mid-air using a dedicated transmitter button, pilots can confidently practice manual flying, then instantly re-enable stabilisation if needed.

6G Auto-Stabilisation for Confident Flying

In 6G mode, the integrated six-axis gyro acts like an auto-pilot, constantly monitoring the aircraft's attitude and automatically correcting pitch and roll. This keeps the glider level and composed, even in gusty conditions, making it ideal for first-time flyers or relaxed cruising. The system greatly reduces pilot workload and helps prevent stalls, spirals, and overcorrection.

3D Mode for Precision and Aerobatics

Switching to 3D mode removes stabilisation limits and allows the aircraft to accurately lock and maintain its flight attitude. This mode gives experienced pilots full control, enabling advanced manoeuvres, dynamic direction changes, and more aggressive flying while still benefitting from precise gyro assistance.

Efficient Soaring and Long Flight Times

The A800 is designed as a true electric glider, capable of flying efficiently at both low and high speeds. The large wingspan and lightweight 110g airframe allow it to glide smoothly with minimal power once altitude is reached. Combined with the folding propeller, which reduces drag when the motor is off, the glider can achieve flight times of up to 20 minutes per change.

Rear Pusher Motor and Folding Propeller

The brushed N60 motor is mounted in a rear pusher configuration, keeping the propeller clear of the nose during launches and landings. The folding propeller automatically collapses when throttle is reduced, minimising air resistance and improving glide efficiency while also protecting the prop during landings.

High-Quality EPO Foam Construction

Manufactured from high-strength EPO foam, the airframe balances durability and low weight. The material absorbs impact energy effectively, making the glider more forgiving for beginners, while the high-gloss surface finish and factory-applied decals enhance durability and visual appeal.

Reliable 2.4 GHz Radio System

The included 2.4 GHz radio system provides a stable control link with a range of up to 200 metres, allowing multiple aircraft to fly simultaneously without interference. Control response is smooth and predictable, ideal for both precision soaring and casual flying.

Everything Included - Ready to Fly

Supplied in RTF format, the XK A800 includes the aircraft, transmitter, 7.4V 300mAh 25C Li-Po battery, and charger. Only standard AA batteries are required for the transmitter, allowing pilots to be airborne quickly with minimal setup.
